Fav Kale Chips

I prefer the texture of curly kale, but Lacinato or dinosaur kale works too. Warning: these are addictive!

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Wash and de-rib kale stalks and get as dry as you can. Keep kale pieces as large as possible. Rub in 1 T of avocado oil. In a small bowl, make a spice blend of 2 T nutritional yeast, 1 t garlic powder, 1 t lemon pepper, 1 t salt and a pinch of cayenne. You can also experiment with subbing onion powder or curry for the lemon pepper. Sprinkle spices over kale and massage in and spread out over two cookie sheets. Try to keep the kale from getting bunched up as they will stick together.

Bake for 10 min then rotate pans and cook for another 10-12. All ovens are different, so watch your kale carefully not to burn it until you figure out exact cooking time for your oven. ENJOY.
